So in love…
Yes, I’m in love…with my dog. I know, I know, so wrong, but hey, I don’t want to marry her or anything. I’m just nuts about her. Which is weird, ’cause I’ve always been much more of a cat person. This dog, however, has certainly thrown me for a loop, and taken over my life.Emma has been in my life for almost two years, and while it’s been a little rocky in spots (she likes to chase things, and there is NO fence too high for her!), I’m smitten. I even swore that no dog of mine would ever share my bed, and damn if this mutt doesn’t have the run of the place! What is she? so many people ask…”no idea”, I usually say, “she’s a mutt…” And a very loveable one, at that

Awww, I know exactly what you mean!!! I always swore I’d never have a small dog, and the first dog that I completely fell in love with was my small dog – Libby – my Miniature Pinscher…which is what your dog looks like she’s mixed with…especially since she is such a jumper. I bet she’s Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russel Terrier. She sure is CUTE!
Opp! HAHA, sorry, I didn’t realize she was big!!! She looks like a Dobi mix (the big version of the min pin) =)
Oh, yeah, she’s pretty big, though not bulky. She’s tall and lean, longer than the width of a queen-sized bed when she stretches out. Big bed hog!
Guesses as to her lineage include: shepherd, husky, rott, dobie, greyhound or whippet, kelpie, and entlebucher (some sort of mix of any of those!) I lean toward kelpie, as pics I’ve seen are pretty close.
Thanks for the comments!
Awww, She sounds very sweet!! I’ve never seen a kelpie, I’ll have to look that up! You’re welcome for the comment!!!
Gotta love someone who loves their dog! Her picture is cute.
Thanks, Rusty – I share that sentiment. And I don’t trust people who don’t like dogs – or other animals
